DIY Infrared Pulse Sensor Kit

This project takes checking your pulse to a whole new level. In order to record the data or use it to trigger an action, you need to convert the reading into an electrical signal. Put your fingertip over the sensor and the infrared light reflected by the blood circulating inside should do just that.

Follow along with the step-by-step instructions or get the downloadable files here.

NOTE: It should be obvious, but we must emphasize this is not a medical device. If your application is life or health-critical, please use only FDA-approved medical-grade pulse sensors.
