Overview

The LF-1700 is an electronically controlled soldering station with intelligent microcomputer chip control that was developed to meet the present and future lead-free soldering needs of the electronic production industry and is suitable for work on professional SMD electronics. An ergonomic handle with shorter distance between heating element and tip provides very fast heat up time and quick heat compensation. A high-quality sensor with advanced heat transfer technology ensures precise temperature regulation, essential for making consistent, reliable solder connections.

The aluminum housing has the advantages of strong structure, good heat sinking and effectively reduces electro-magnetic interference. The LF 1700's 100W power capability results in both a rapid heat-up and super-fast recovery. This station incorporates electronic circuitry which enables the user to alter tip temperature from 150°C to 480°C (302°F to 896°F) without changing tips or heating elements. The temperature is maintained within ±3°C (±6°F) of its operating temperature by a thermocouple sensor placed in the head of the heating element, allowing the tip to rest against the sensor.
